Fun Spot Orlando (IAAPA 2025)

After a long day at Education Sessions, and dinner with my classmates at Old Red, Luke, Josh, Abi, Ronan, Caroline, and I would make a trip to FunSpot Orlando, to relax a little before the IAAPA show floor opened the next morning. This park was small, only having a few attractions, but each attraction can hold on its own. Our visit on Monday, November 17th, was a relaxing evening having Safe, Clean, Fun.

Caroline and I rolled up first to FunSpot, beating Luke, Josh, Abi, and Ronan, as they took a seperate car. We went and got our wristbands, and took a lap on Freedom Flyer. This first lap took forever, and we waited about 10 minutes in the load station to dispatch. By the time we got off, The rest of the gang finally got there, and they also wanted to ride Freedom Flyer. We followed Freedom Flyer with a ride on Sea Serpent, the parks kiddie coaster. We filled an entire train, as we can only ride one car per person. Following we would walk through the Fun House.

We went and took 6 laps on White Lightning after Fun House. This GCI woodie rides so smooth, and with its shiny Titan Track, it may be the smoothest wooden coaster I've ridden. After our 6 laps, we went and rode Liberty Swing, Caroline and I would ride in the lie-down seating. This was an interesting experience, but it was comfy, so I didn't mind.

Caroline would leave after Liberty Swing, and the rest of us, minus Abi, would do the GO-Karts. We did all 3 tracks, Commander, Quad Helix, and Conquest. Each track was really fun, and we got many laps on the tracks. By the time we were done, it was 11pm, and we were all tired, so we went home for the night.

FunSpot Orlando is a fun park to visit. It has an easy layout, and none of the rides we rode were bad. That night, I rode $158 worth of rides, since FunSpot is pay per ride unless you have an all day band/pass. This bring my running total so far on this trip to $266/$110, so I have more than doubled the value of my season pass in 2 days. FunSpot also is an easy going park, and we didn't wait for anything, just walking on to all the rides except Caroline and I's first ride on Freedom Flyer. I've attached some photos below, so feel free to take a look.
